It was the Covid lockdown when she was born so I had all the time in the world to spend with her. I dedicated every hour of the day to
train her, take her for walks and playing ball with her, I fell in love. Over the following months I experienced the life sucking lows and
euphoric highs of dog training, feelings you could only experience while training your first ever dog. I never read a handling book,
watched a YouTube tutorial, or asked handlers for advice, I was training her on instinct and emotion it's when I learnt the feel for
dogs. I often pause to remind myself how lucky I was to have her, not only did she excused my flaws but excelled despite of them,
expressing nothing but an unwavering dedication to me and to learning.
Our story together is long and complicated, more suitable for a book than a page on a website. It’s a tale of bravery, staring failure in
the face but deciding to walk on regardless. We grew up together, she taught me invaluable lessons, she’s the greatest mentor I
could ever dream of. She has shaped my life in an unbelievable way, I went from having no interest in dogs to changing my
university plans so I could stay home and train her and her 3 pups. My only goal while training a sheepdog is to repay the love and
faith that they show in me, Tlws gave me my passion, my life, my future;
Man is incapable of such extraordinary benevolence; she is truly the best of us.
